Elaine, Mizuho Bank Ltd

“Excellent course and trainer. Very clear instruction from the trainer, very interactive. Good course if you have an existing working knowledge of basic functions in excel. Sections covered provided new knowledge which will make reporting and my use of excel easier in the future. Great training session. I had a good knowledge of Excel but found this training has broadened that existing knowledge and provided me with tools and tips I can use in my everyday work. I found Conditional Formatting the most useful aspect, I knew little about this before the course and now have a good understanding of how it works and how I can use it. I liked that the course was interactive with a demo then the students trying for themselves.”

Great session overall, I have learnt a large number of things that I wasn’t expecting to which will undoubtedly improve my work regarding excel in the future.

I found the whole course to be very informative and the trainers approach was great.

Excellent course, clearly explained. Trainer had taken the time to match the version of Excel on the training laptop to the version I have in the office. Excellent course and presented in a clear manner. In addition to the course content I was very pleased to learn some basic things that I had missed somewhere along the way. Course and administration perfect. Venue of great interest due to its place in aviation history.

I would recommend the course, very down to earth trainer who helped make the course relevant and useful for our job roles. We were quite an excitable group of graduates but she managed to keep us engaged. Really helpful, endless shortcuts I almost didn’t attend the session when reading the list of what was covered as I thought I already knew how to do them. I was surprised how much I could learn and how much I didn’t know.

I would absolutely recommend the course, it was well structured, instructions and teaching very clear and professional. Session was well timed for the contents we covered – managed to cover everything including the tasks and have enough break times in between. What I found most useful was pivot tables and data validation tool, also the quick keys/commands tips! Venue was nice and had all the facilities you could need, people and staff at reception were friendly.

I would recommend the course. There is a lot that you learn. Lots of shortcut to save time and get work presented professionally. The pace of the sessions was appropriate allowing us to practice and revise. The tutor was clear and took time to help when stuck. I found linking the worksheets and the pivot tables the most useful, they made presenting information easy. The venue was appropriate. Clean and had a good welcoming atmosphere.

Claire, Civil Aviation Authority

I would recommend this course as it enabled me to learn about areas of excel that I didn’t even know existed and improve any skills I currently had. The session was run in a very effective way, as it was comprised of watching demonstrations and then completing tasks and asking questions. I found the conditional formatting the most useful section of the course as it relates most to my area of work.

Francesca, Civil Aviation Authority

Excellent course and trainer. It gave a very good overview of excel and filled in the gaps in my knowledge. For me the exercises were the most useful part – I like to learn by doing (in my head this is learning through play). This was well balanced and I cannot suggest any improvements

Fiona, Civil Aviation Authority

Excellent course and trainer. Yes I would recommend the course. Great next step after module one. Good energy and loads of info.
